You’d be forgiven for thinking 2013 will be a quiet year for video games. It’s the wind down that comes just before a new generation of gaming, so why would there be much to get excited about?

Well, thankfully, there’s actually quite a lot. No doubt there’s much more that we don’t yet know about and admittedly there are quite a number not yet nailed down to specific dates, but there’s something every month anyway.

So we’ve listed every major game out throughout 2013: from GTA 5 to BioShock Infinite. While we’ve tried to include games in the right months, not every game has a date set in stone so expect a few changes.

January

DMC: Devil May Cry

Publisher: Capcom

We’ve played a lot of it at preview stage and we can safely say this is going to be a fantastic game from Ninja Theory and Capcom.

Ni No Kuni: The Wrath Of The White Witch

Publisher: Namco Bandai
Platform: PS3
It’s been a long time coming but there’s a lot to get excited about with Ni No Kuni. We’ve played this at preview stage and we’re already pretty impressed with it.

The Cave

Publisher: Sega
Platform: PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360
Ron Gilbert’s latest is a unique platform-adventure game that let’s you take control of three of seven possible characters. It’s already showing a lot of promise, though may not may its predicted January release date.

February

Dead Space 3

Publisher: EA
Platform: PC, PS3, Xbox 360
It’s easy to be cynical about this one – what with the addition of co-op – but it’s still a very popular franchise and impossible to ignore. Keep an eye on this one.

Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time

Publisher: Sony
Platform: PS3, PS Vita
You don’t get games like this anymore – for whatever reason – so thank God Sony’s around to make sure we get our fill of colourful platforming action.

Crysis 3

Publisher: EA
Platform: PC, PS3, Xbox 360
Sometimes it’s enough to stick all the graphics into a game to make it exciting. While Crytek would argue there’s more depth to Crysis 3 than that – and no doubt there is – it’s all we really care about. Shameless graphics whores, and all that.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

After having hands-on with Metal Gear Rising last year all our doubts over Platinum Games new take on the series have been washed away. Insanely fun and typically mental.

Rayman Legends

Publisher: Ubisoft
Platform: Wii U
Already the best Wii U game and it’s not even out yet, Rayman Legends combines that gorgeous 2D platforming we saw in Rayman Origins with multiplayer GamePad gaming.

SimCity

There are a lot of changes to the series under the hood with SimCity’s GlassBox engine, but it’s already looking like a potential Game Of The Year contender.

Tomb Raider

Platform: PC, PS3, Xbox 360
Ignoring the multiplayer (sigh), there’s a lot to like about Lara Croft’s darker adventure. Don’t ignore this one, it could be pretty special.

God Of War: Ascension

Publisher: Sony
Platform: PS3
It’s God Of War, and that’s enough to get excited. Time to rip the heads off a few more gods as Kratos once more.

StarCraft 2: Heart Of The Swarm

Platform: PC
It’s more than just an expansion pack; Heart Of The Swarm is looking to bring a heap of changes, new units and extra single player content to Blizzard’s best-selling StarCraft 2.

Gears Of War: Judgment

Publisher: Microsoft
Platform: Xbox 360
It might be a game focused on the franchise’s most irritating character, but this is still Gears Of War as we know it. And now with a fresh pair of eyes in the form of new developer People Can Fly, too.

BioShock Infinite

The second most anticipated game this year, and after the original BioShock probably rightly so. There’s every reason to expect greatness from Ken Levine’s latest.

Army Of Two: The Devil’s Cartel

It might look stupid, it might have very little depth but there are a lot of people out there who enjoyed the previous two as co-op experiences. And with Visceral at the helm, it could actually be decent.

Fuse

Publisher: EA

There are a lot of mixed signals with Fuse, but rather than worry too much we’re just going to give Insomniac the benefit of the doubt and hope it all turns out alright on the night.

Metro: Last Light

Platform: PC, PS3, Xbox 360
Metro 2033 was something of a surprise hit, so a sequel – one which seems to have the best graphics this side of next-gen – should be met with the right level of intrigue.

South Park: The Stick Of Truth

Publisher: THQ
Platform: PC, PS3, Xbox 360
With Trey Parker and Matt Stone on board with The Stick Of Truth you can be certain there will be a level of quality not often seen with licensed games. And Obsidian know all about RPGs, so it’ll be a great game too.

Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate

It'll sell by the bucketload in Japan, but what about in the West? Could this be Capcom's big chance? Who knows.

Grand Theft Auto 5

If you need us to explain why you should be excited for GTA 5 then we can safely say it’s not for you. Should be out between April and June.

Beyond: Two Souls

There’s more to Beyond: Two Souls than Ellen Page, and you should be excited for it too. It’s like Heavy Rain, but with more gameplay.

Broken Sword: The Serpent’s Curse

It’s a brand new Broken Sword game, done in a style fans will adore made with the support and suggestions of the Kickstarter community. How could this be a bad thing?

Race Driver: Grid 2

Publisher: Codemasters

This is Codemasters doing their thing, remembering that before DiRT there was Grid. On track to be one of the greatest racers this generation.

Double Fine Adventure

The first point-‘n’-click adventure game from Tim Schafer and Ron Gilbert for years? Yes please.

The Last Of Us

Another of the most anticipated games of 2013, Naughty Dog takes on the survival genre with a brutal, mature and intriguing look at life after an apocalypse. Guaranteed to be great.

Company Of Heroes 2

Platform: PC
The original Company Of Heroes is one of the most revered RTS games on PC. This is the sequel. Simple.

Remember Me

Publisher: Capcom

The surprise announcement of Remember Me last year has since waned, but there is a lot of potential for Dontnod’s unique sci-fi game. Keep an eye out for it.

Shadowrun Returns

Publisher: Harebrained StudiosPlatform: Android, iOS, PCTurn-based strategy games are certainly making a comeback – thanks to Kickstarter anyway – and Shadowrun Returns promises to relive the glory days of the SNES Shadowrun game.

Neverwinter

Publisher: Perfect World
Platform: PC
Not enough people are interested in Neverwinter if you ask us, but they should be. Hopefully this MMO will be a surprise hit whenever it launches this year.

Pikmin 3

Publisher: Nintendo
Platform: Wii U
There isn’t a specific date for Pikmin 3, nor any solid details. But we’ve seen it in action at E3 and it’s bloody Pikmin, so how can you not love it? Maybe even worth buying a Wii U for.

Planetary Annihilation

Some of the guys behind Total Annihilation are looking to use planets as weapons in an RTS game. If that doesn’t interest you then you’re dead inside.

Grim Dawn

Publisher: Crate Entertainment
Platform: PC
If you’ve played Titan Quest then you’ll already know why you should be excited for Grim Dawn. If you haven’t, go and play it then get excited.

Killzone: Mercenary

Publisher: Sony
Platform: PS Vita
There’s little on the horizon for PS Vita – that we know of at least – but Killzone: Mercenary seems like it could be a fantastic addition to the console. Keep an eye on this one.

Lost Planet 3

Publisher: Capcom
Platform: PC, PS3, Xbox 360
Lost Planet 3 looks to Dead Space for inspiration – and we mean the good Dead Space, not the gun-toting sequel. It’s a new direction for the series, but one that is desperately needed.

Tearaway

We’ve no idea when this might turn up, but it’s a PS Vita by the guys who made LittleBigPlanet. For that reason alone we can’t wait to see what it’s like.

Battlefield 4

We know it’s coming, we just don’t know when. If it is out this year it’ll be out in September. Everything else is up in the air, but it’ll still be Battlefield and for that reason alone it’s worth paying attention.

Deadpool

High Moon Studios did a fantastic job of the Transformers franchise. Now it has control of our favourite comic book character. Only good things can happen.

Total War: Rome 2

Publisher: Sega
Platform: PC
We don’t think anyone can doubt Creative Assembly’s skills when it comes to strategy games these days. Rome 2 will be fantastic, that’s for certain.

Wasteland 2

Platform: PC
If you like Fallout then you need to pay attention to Wasteland 2, because the popular franchise owes its existence to the original Wasteland.

Puppeteer

Publisher: Sony
Platform: PS3
We love that Sony supports unique and off-the-cuff ideas like Puppeteer, and you should too. It might not look like your sort of thing, but we predict this could this year’s Journey.

The Elder Scrolls Online

Publisher: Zenimax
Platform: PC
An MMO built into the world of The Elder Scrolls? It might not be first-person or share many of the similarities with the console equivalent, but you can be damned sure it’ll be a great MMO.

Watch Dogs

There’s rumours of Watch Dogs being a next-gen game, and judging by its visuals that’s entirely possible. Still, it’s the innovative hacking-filled gameplay that really interests.

Destiny

Famed Halo developer Bungie steps out of its Microsoft shadow to create something completely new? While we should expect space marines shooting aliens to play a large part of the game, there’s bound to be just as much innovation as the original Halo.

Fortnite

Epic Games is deciding to do something completely different with Fortnite, and we can get on board with that. Unreal Engine 4, Minecraft-style construction and Horde-style combat. Count us in.

December

Dead State

Publisher: DoubleBear Productions
Platform: PC
December’s a bit of a slow month, but if this Kickstarter project sticks to its schedule then you’ll have a real diamond to finish the year with. Squad-based RPG combat akin to XCOM with freeform exploration like the original Fallout. Get excited for this one.

Top 6 Movies Upcoming 2013

Now we know what’s confirmed for next year so let’s take a look at the top 30 most anticipated new movies of 2013. While it doesn’t quite match this year for exciting titles, it is the biggest ever for science-fiction and there are many intriguing prospects. Will these be 2013′s best movies? 6th – Thor: The Dark World
Starring: Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston
Director: Alan Taylor
Out: July 26, 2013

Marvel says the crux of ‘Thor 2′ is continuing the dynamic between Thor and Jane, as well as the relationship between Thor and Odin. Loki will be present but eclipsed by a bigger villain. Rumour has it that will be both Asgardian sorceress The Enchantress and Jotunheimian warrior The Executioner, long-time enemies of Thor. The plot will also cover what has been happening in the nine realms since the Asgardians have been unable to use the Bifrost. Don’t be surprised if ‘Avengers’-cameo-maker Thanos pops in briefly to steal the infinity gauntlet from Odin and set up ‘Avengers 2′. The director of TV’s ‘Game Of Thrones’ takes over from Kenneth Branagh.

5th – Gravity
Starring: Sandra Bullock, George Clooney
Director: Alfonso Cuarón
Out: TBC 2013

A space mission to repair the Hubble telescope meets disaster when satellite debris collides with the space station, destroying most of it and killing all but two astronauts. The remaining pair must now fight for survival and try to find a way home. This will be shot in the same style as the director’s ‘Children Of Men’, and anyone who saw that knows just how visually amazing it should be in a space setting. In fact, it’s said to be even more ambitious, with new rigs to create subjective immersion in space – James Cameron says it’s “5 years ahead of its time” on a technical level. That’s some hype. Can’t wait to see it, even if Sandra Bullock isn’t the most interesting leading actress.

4th – The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug
Starring: Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Andy Serkis, Hugo Weaving
Director: Peter Jackson
Out: December 13, 2013

After crossing the Misty Mountains, Thorin and Company must seek aid from a powerful stranger before taking on the dangers of Mirkwood Forest. If they reach the human settlement of Lake-town it will be time for the hobbit Bilbo to fulfil his contract with the dwarves. Will they discover what has become of Gandalf? This is the second of three Hobbit movies, all of which were filmed largely back-to-back. Each has been fleshed out with details not in the novel. The final part follows six months later. Expect good things.

3rd – Star Trek Into Darkness
Starring: Crew from previous movie, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve, Peter Weller
Director: J.J. Abrams
Out: May 17, 2013

After the crew of the Enterprise find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization, Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. 2009′s pleasant surprise returns, keeping the same cast and director. Benedict Cumberbatch will play the villain, said to be similar to Khan (from ‘Star Trek II’). Peter Weller will be a supporting bad guy, described as an ‘evil CEO’. Alice Eve is a femme fatale. Location-wise, it will feature a “jungle planet” (that’s rather Project Genesis?). If the movie has half the impact of the original ‘Star Trek II’ it will be terrific entertainment.

2nd – Iron Man 3
Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Guy Pearce, Ben Kingsley, Rebecca Hall
Director: Shane Black
Out: May 3, 2013

Borrowing elements from the ‘Extremis’ graphic novel, this is about Tony Stark dealing with a virus that spreads through nanotechnology. Rebecca Hall (‘The Town’) plays Stark’s intellectual equal, a brilliant scientist who develops the nanotechnology that unintentionally lands in the hands of terrorists. Guy Pearce plays Aldich Killian, the evil geneticist who creates the virus. Ben Kingsley plays Mandarin, the villain pulling the strings. The hugely underrated Shane Black (‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’) is writing/directing, and the movie will have a global travel aspect similar to James Bond. There won’t be a role for Black Widow or any of The Avengers.

1st – Superman: Man Of Steel
Starring: Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner
Director: Zack Snyder
Out: June 14, 2013

Superman reboot developed by Christopher Nolan, with a script from ‘Dark Knight’ co-writer David Goyer, although it’s definitely now Zack Snyder’s (’300′, ‘Watchmen’) movie. So expect strong visuals and action, based off solid story elements. Brandon Routh is out as Superman, replaced by ‘Immortals’ star Henry Cavill. Amy Adams is Lois Lane. Costner and Diane Lane are Ma and Pa Kent. Laurence Fishburne is Perry White. Russell Crowe will pull a Brando as Superman’s ill-fated father on Krypton. Michael Shannon is a solid pick for the rebooted General Zod (an army leader with several Kryptonian soldiers by his side). They have wisely got rid of Lex Luthor and, despite Zod, this is the first Superman movie to really go off the comics and not Richard Donner’s vision. Has enormous potential.

5,000 friends on Facebook? Yeah easy to do !

Facebook is a social networking site that has been sweeping the world by storm over the past several years. MySpace is a thing of the past now that most people have turned to Facebook as a way to keep up with their family and friends. This networking site is not just about socializing; it can also be a great networking tool for those that have a business.

Many businesses have found that creating a Facebook page generates them more business. The only way to ensure that you have the business that you are looking for is by increasing the number of friends that you have on the site. Here are a few ways that you can increase your Facebook friends fast.

1. Utilize Facebook Widgets

Facebook widgets can be one of the easiest ways to add more friends to your page.  You can easily add your widget to your blog page or website. People will be able to easily click on your widget and find you. Knowing how to strategically place your widget is important. 

If it is not in a visible area on your site that receives a lot of traffic, then people may not be able to find it. You should put it in a spot that you are sure that your viewers will find it. In fact, letting them know that they can become a friend on Facebook is also a great idea. Guide them to the widget so that they will use it.

You can host a variety of contests for your Facebook friends. If you do this, then they will likely tell others about the contests and they will want to add you as a friend. 

If people see being your friend on Facebook as fun and exciting, then they are that much more likely to add you. Contests and polls can be fun, and many people are attracted to them.

4. Advertise Your Facebook Page

Facebook has a lot of different options when it comes to advertising. Put it this way, for a site to provide completely free services they have to be able to make up their money somewhere. 

You can often times have your page featured in certain geographical areas in order to get exposure. People will then click on your page and add you as a friend. This is something that you generally pay per click. Also engage in your Facebook pages and groups wisely.

5. Update Your Friends on a Regular Basis

Never forget about the people who are already your friend on Facebook. In order to preserve those friends, and not have to worry about people “unfriending” you, you should take the time to send out a regular update to your friends. 

You can do this easily and quickly. It does not have to be anything fancy. Just post a simple update every now and then so that they know you are active on your page.

Remember also that you to have a fast and always on Internet connection since if you are an avid Facebook user and are logged in all the time you will need and using a good amount of bandwidth. Fios deals and rebates are being offered to all new subscribers so there is no reason you cannot have an instant 24 hour Facebook connection.

How to be lovely person ???

Your attitude: To be lovely, you must have a lovely personality. Be sure to maintain the same personality at all times. Treat people the way you would like to be treated and show respect to all who deserve it. Always try to be kind and gracious to everyone. Have an optimistic attitude, always see the glass as half full as opposed to half empty. Learn to laugh at life and at yourself. Keep things in perspective, and don't take yourself too seriously. Try to have a positive outlook on life and treat life as if it is a gift.



Heart and soul: Have a heart of gold and a kind soul. Try to always be sympathetic toward others and always have the best for yourself and others in mind. Empathy is a great skill to acquire if you really are to be a lovely person. Empathy is the ability to imagine yourself in others shoes, always consider how others are feeling and be genuinely kind. People with a kind soul and a heart of gold are difficult to find, but they are of course, very lovely.

Love: Well the word lovely is deprived from the word love, so it makes sense that love is important. You must be able to love yourself if you want others to love you. Remember, love is infinite; you can create as much of it as you like with out taking any away. Don’t be afraid to wear your heart on your sleeve (be open about your emotions) and share the love around. People will think you are lovely for it.


Morals and beliefs: If you would like to be genuinely lovely, it is a good idea to develop or identify your morals and beliefs. Figure out your values, and exercise them. For example, if you are a supporter of human rights or equal rights, stand by these beliefs and always stand up for what you believe in. Stick to your morals and beliefs, they make you who you are and only you can change that.


Be social: Talk to and compliment plenty of people, be a ‘social butterfly’. Show off your lovely personality by making new friends, giving compliments and even organizing parties... The possibilities are endless. Give out genuine compliments, but be careful not to over do it. A single compliment can brighten ones mood completely. People really love to be complimented and they also love to feel like they want to be talked to. Others will really appreciate your effort.


Look lovely: Like it or not, being lovely in this society also involves looking lovely. Try to look your best by taking good care of yourself. Have good hygiene, dress carefully and take pride in your appearance. No matter what your style, try to always look presentable and lovely. If you are stuck for ideas, a simple dress can look very feminine and lovely, give it a go. Keep the makeup simple and always keep your nails and hair clean. Shiny hair is definitely lovely. Don’t be afraid to experiment, it may take a while to find what works best for you, good luck!

Getting rich quick is one of the dreams that propels many individuals forward to finally take the leap into investing, entrepreneurship, real-estate ownership and more and keeps the engine of capitalism humming. Getting rich in one year for real is however a monumental task - if you begin counting your days from the time that you first commit to that task. In reality, you will get rich very quickly - overnight success it would seem - if you begin counting from when your net-worth began rising dramatically. The difference between the two statements is because of that wonderful key to success - preparation.

Preparation is the art of first, a commitment to success - where you absolutely, with no exceptions, commit your mind and soul to the singular task of becoming very rich, very quickly. Preparation is next a task of choosing a path that is most in tune with your talents and interests and passion that can lead you to riches. Preparation is then a task of accumulating all the knowledge about that particular pathway - including apprenticing, running test runs, developing a feel for that pathway. A ten-bagger stock, a deeply undervalued property, a business proposition with tremendous potential, an apprenticeship opportunity to learn from the best - would all be passed over by you like a ship passing a harbor at night.

To get rich in one year for real, you need to prepare - maybe three to four years - and be content with not seeing any changes in your net-worth during that time - and then you will see a dramatic rise as you land your first deal, and then the next, and the next and you will see your net worth rise dramatically. Your "overnight success" would have come. Give yourself seven years from the time of commitment to realization of success - and as we said, it will seem overnight when success actually hits you!

5 Tips to Become a Great Manager

Being a good manager isn't just about showing up to work on time and firing the employees who don't work hard enough. Your employees rely on you to make their workplace safe, to provide encouragement and praise and to keep everyone in line so that all employees are treated safely. Similarly, your boss counts on you to make sure that your team is productive.
There are plenty of qualities that can make you a great manager, but here are the top five:
1- Get the Best on Board
A combination of hard skills (work history, education, professional skills) and soft skills (communication, motivation, personality) will make the best team for a great manager. Whenever possible, use your managerial status to get the best employees in the company on your team. This means recruiting employees who demonstrate an affinity for the work and who are dedicated to getting the job done.
In some cases, a great manager will have to work with whatever employees he or she is dealt. If your boss is the one who determines which employees work where, you will have to mold your employees into the best of the best. This means training your employees constantly in the areas that will help them excel. Too many managers are focused on the work and not on helping their employees succeed.
2- Align Tasks to Motivation
When employees work on projects they enjoy, they are hundreds of times more productive. As a great manager, you will need to help align your employees with the work that motivates them. For example, if one of your employees is great at sales, his or her skills would be a waste working in shipping. Make sure that your employees are always working where they are most likely to succeed, and your job as manager will be far easier.
One of the best ways to determine your employees' tasks to motivation is by observing them on a regular basis. Get on the floor and out of your office and start paying attention to each of your employees. Are they happy? Are their talents being put to the proper use? A great manager will help his employees to succeed so that he can succeed.
3- Strike a Balance
Whenever possible, a great manager should ensure that his or her team is properly balanced. One project, for example, should benefit from both creative and logical thinkers. While they might argue every once in a while over the finer points of a problem, their individual talents will help to round out the work that they do. As a great manager, it is your job to help strike a balance in all work-related projects.
Of course, in order to make this happen, you will have to know your employees. What are their talents? Their skills? Their gifts? Work with each of your employees to reach his full potential and you'll be a better manager.
4- Continually Monitor
A group-think dynamic can often develop among team members who work closely together, and a great manager respects that dynamic. If you see that employees are working below their normal threshold, there may be a problem with the group dynamic that can be easily changed by consistent monitoring. Take time out of your busy day to talk to your employees one-on-one. Find out if they are happy working where they are and if they perceive any problems with other employees.
Individuals are unlikely to speak out when confronted with a group situation. This is why a great manager must step in and take control. If you see that there is a problem with a certain group of employees, switch them around. Change is good, and you'll want to find the perfect combination to make sure your department runs smoothly.
5- Give Credit; Take Blame
